Tiffany and Dan's Rustic Wedding at Odo's Barn
When I met Tiffany and Dan, they knew exactly what they wanted for their wedding cake, 4 tier cake with two tiers decorated as logs and two tiers in normal ivory icing. We discussed various ideas and options but came up with the idea of the bottom tier being a log with a heart carved into the front with the couples initials and an arrow through the carved heart, the second and top tier iced in ivory icing and left plain but edged in natural hessian. The 3 rd tier was another log with a heart carved in it this time with the wedding date carved in it. The cake was topped with a large spray of ivory sugar flowers which matched the wedding flowers including Freesia, David Austin Roses, Lisianthus, Brunia Balls, blossoms and ivory roses. The wedding was held at Odo’s Barn in Bilsington near Ashford. It was my first visit to Odo’s Barn, and I must admit it was quite difficult to find, but oh my goodness was it worth it.
